Our client offers software solutions and services tailored to address the challenges encountered by senior living care providers. The primary concerns within this sector currently revolve around occupancy rates and staff retention. Their commitment lies in their ability to boost occupancy rates and decrease staff turnover. Furthermore, their array of products and services empowers businesses to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs.

Their services encompass a wide spectrum, including lead generation through marketing automation, overseeing information technology services, and providing products designed to assist senior living providers in the day-to-day management of their communities and in achieving state compliance (in the US market).

Project Background

The intent was to build an application to facilitate search of facilities from the desired communities for the users.

Goal

The objective of the project was to develop an application that will allow the users to find communities for the elderly people to live in. Users on the application will be able to find different communities like “senior living community”, “assisted living communities with medical care”, “Assisted living communities without medical care”. Users on the application will be able to filter and search communities based on different criteria, as they can filter communities based on location and also be able to define the number of miles where they want to search communities.

Users based on their desired search results will be displayed different facilities for communities as the users are able to view information about videos and images of the facilities. The users will have the ability to contact the care provider by directly messaging them or reaching out through submitting a contact form. Users will have the option to directly book a tour for visiting the facility. Both the provider and the user have options to provide reviews for each other.

The care provider is a person who manages multiple facilities that can be of the same or different community types. The care provider can pay for a subscription using an integrated payment gateway to feature their facility on top of the listing that can be seen by other users while trying to find a facility of their preferred community. Based on a subscription the care provider can access an external CRM dashboard where leads will be synced and saved. The entire application will be governed by a web administrator.

Project Timeline

The overall time frame for the development of the project is 6 months.

Challenges

There are major challenges we faced during the development of the project which are mentioned below.

  • The main challenge we faced was that the application to be developed should be SEO friendly.
  • To integrate a feature that will allow the users to book for facility tours. The challenge here is that this integration should not affect the application design as the client is more inclined towards the designs.
